Seminar addressed decarbonisation and environmental sustainability in the wine sector

On 8 July, the seminar "Decarbonisation and Environmental Sustainability in the Wine Sector" took place as part of the Strengths4WineChain project, bringing together researchers and experts to discuss the challenges and opportunities associated with the sustainability of the wine sector. 

The event focused on environmental challenges, the circular economy and sustainability in the wine sector, bringing together researchers, experts and professionals to promote knowledge sharing and discussion on these topics. 

The programme included thematic panels, debates and a round-table discussion, covering topics such as the decarbonisation of the wine sector and environmental management, the circular economy and pollution. 

The seminar was held within the framework of the Strengths4WineChain project, which aims to develop innovative and sustainable strategies to strengthen the resilience and competitiveness of the wine sector while promoting cooperation between higher education and research institutions.
