Celebrating the Soil is a Daily Mission

Today, World Soil Day, we remember the presence of a delegation from the LivingSoill project in Brussels to take part in European Soil Week 2024, organised by Mission Solo. 

At one of the events attended by Cristina Carlos, the project's coordinator, the 25 Living Labs that resulted from the approval of the 5 Soil Mission projects in 2024 (Living SoiLL, GOV4ALL, ICOSHELLs, SOILCRATES, LILAS4SOILs) were presented, explaining their objectives, the soil challenges and the main target crops. 

In this context, there were also networking events and a co-creation workshop with representatives from other Mission Solo projects. At the end of the event, LivingSoiLL's 5 Living Labs were officially recognized as part of the 25 pioneering Living Labs that will be working towards healthier soils as part of the European Union's Soil Mission.
