CITAB was in the last IBTIKAR Project meeting

The researchers Teresa Pinto, from CITAB, and Elisete Correia from CEMAT, traveled to Lecce, Italy, from May 8th to 11th, 2023, representing UTAD, to participate in a meeting of the consortium of the IBTIKAR Project.

This consortium involves eleven Libyan universities, the University of Salento (Lecce), the Union of Mediterranean Universities (Rome), and UTAD (Vila Real).

The project has the specific objective of promoting a research and innovation environment in the Libyan higher education system. It aims to enhance academic and administrative skills, as well as develop a network between Libyan academic institutions and higher education institutions and research centers in the European Union.

In this regard, during the Horizontal Skills Training Week in Lecce, research capacity-building activities focused on engineering, nanotechnology, environmental sciences, and technologies were promoted.
