Seven CITAB researchers among World’s Top 2% Most Influential Scientists
The Stanford ranking is published annually
According to the latest edition of the 'World's Top 2% Scientists List,' published by Stanford University (USA) in collaboration with Elsevier, seven CITAB researchers are ranked among the top 2% of the world's most cited scientists in 2023, within their respective fields. Notably, three of them also appear in the ranking for career-long impact.
The recognized researchers are Amélia Silva, Berta Gonçalves, João Santos, Luís Félix, Paulo Fernandes, Eduardo Rosa, and Hélder Fraga, with the latter three also featured for their significant career-long contributions.
The “World's Top 2% Scientists List” compiles the citation indicators in all scientific fields of more than 220,000 researchers and is divided into two categories: one that looks at impact over the last year and another that measures impact over the course of a career.
