Congress "Digital Agro-Food & Forestry (r)evolution" | 12-13 December 2019 | UTAD - Vila Real

The International Congress Digital Agro-food & Forestry (r)evolution, to be held at the University of Trás-os-Montes and Alto Douro on December 12th-13th 2019, is the result of a joint organization between CITAB (Centre for the Research and Technology of Agro-Environmental and Biological Sciences) and INESC TEC (Institute of Systems Engineering and Computers, Technology and Science). This Congress will be a forum open to national and international researchers, stakeholders and students, staking on the link between research and innovation, using new technologies in agro-food and forestry value chains. The Congress will present a diversified program, designed to promote the interaction between the different participants, creating discussion forums on the most relevant topics in the Agro-food and Forestry areas, including the Internet of Things and Big Data, Artificial Intelligence, Robotics and Remote Sensing. This event will include plenary lectures on highly relevant topics of this digital revolution in the Agro-food and Forestry sectors by internationally recognized experts, as well as oral and panel communications, selected from the abstracts submitted by the participants. It is expected an audience of 150 attendants. The social program includes a visit to a Douro valley vineyard.
