The University of Trás-os-Montes and Alto Douro will be hosting the European Researchers’ Night for the first time in Vila Real – an initiative coordinated by the EU-GIFT European Alliance and open to the entire academic community.
The aim is to bring Science closer to Society through interactive activities for audiences of different ages, ranging from pre-school children and primary and secondary school pupils to the general public.
To help us plan the event, please could you send us the following information regarding each proposed activity by 10 July (without fail):
🔹 Title of the activity (preferably with an appealing name that is accessible to the public);
🔹 Target audience or educational level for which it is intended;
🔹 Logistical and material requirements (e.g. access to electricity, water, specific furniture, etc.);
🔹 Cost estimate, should it be necessary to purchase consumables or other materials essential for carrying out the activity.
Participation by schools and nurseries will be subject to prior registration.
The number of registered participants will help to shape the final programme; a single venue may host different activities throughout the day, tailored to different audiences.
We are counting on everyone’s cooperation to make this event an opportunity to share the knowledge produced at UTAD and to bring academia and the community closer together.
