Another award for Greenvalue! 🏅
GREENValue was one of the winners of the National Innovation Award, affirming the excellence of national innovation.
"The Greenvalue project aimed to restore forest land at risk of desertification in the municipality of Alfândega da Fé by planting different tree species.
It valorised sludge from Águas do Norte's wastewater treatment plants and studied the use of treated wastewater for irrigation, promoting the circular economy and mitigating problems such as the loss of fertile soils and the destination of by-products from the treatment plants."
