CITAB and Inov4Agro took part in the Science and Innovation 2026 Conference

CITAB and Inov4Agro took part in the Science and Innovation 2026 Conference.

As part of the thematic session ‘Agriculture, Agri-food and Bioeconomy’, the proposal ‘Agri-food in Portugal: Science & Innovation, pillars of Security and Sovereignty’ was presented, contributing to the discussion on the strategic role of research and innovation in strengthening the national agri-food sector.

The session brought together researchers, representatives from scientific institutions, businesses and policy-makers to discuss the priorities that should guide the work of the future Agency for Research and Innovation (AI2).

The participation of CITAB and Inov4Agro in this meeting reinforces their commitment to promoting research of excellence, geared towards addressing societal challenges and contributing to the formulation of public policies that drive innovation and sustainability in agricultural value chains.
