Learn about the work of our Integrated Members.

I am a career researcher at CITAB, where I develop my work in the field of agroclimatology, with a particular focus on viticulture. I am also a member of the Department of Agronomy at UTAD, where I teach in the Agronomy and Oenology programmes, contributing to the education of future professionals in the sector. My research focuses on assessing the impacts of climate variability and extreme events on agricultural systems, as well as modelling future scenarios to support crop adaptation and enhance resilience. I also develop work on the application of digital technologies to agriculture, namely through the use of artificial intelligence and predictive models based on machine learning.

I have contributed to the development of strategies that promote climate change adaptation and strengthen the sustainability of agri-food systems, particularly in Mediterranean regions. I believe that the integration of interdisciplinary approaches is essential to anticipate climate risks and develop innovative solutions to address current agricultural challenges.
