Great news! 🚨

👩‍🔬 Edna Cabecinha, researcher at CITAB, has been appointed Lead of the Nature-based Solutions thematic group of the IUCN Commission on Ecosystem Management for the period 2026–2029. 🏅

This group is part of the International Union for Conservation of Nature and plays a central role in promoting and developing nature-based solutions to tackle global challenges such as climate change and biodiversity loss.

An international distinction that recognises the scientific work carried out and reinforces Portugal’s contribution to the global sustainability agenda. 🌍
