Control Vespa CIM Tâmega e Sousa

Partnership project between CIM Tâmega e Sousa and CITAB/UTAD aiming at the development of a specific biological compound and its adjustment to a device for injecting the compound into the nest and the development of handmade of handmade harps to control the species in apiaries. The new methods and models for early nest detection will allow efforts to be concentrated in more problematic areas, issue warnings to local beekeepers, and make the actions of municipal Civil Protection brigades more efficient.
