dQa -Cidadania para o acompanhamento das políticas públicas da água

A project financed by the Active Citizenship Programme EEA Grants of the Calouste Gulbenkian Foundation, in partnership with Quercus a Portuguese Non Governmental Organization for Conservation of Nature, Natural Resources and Environmental Protection, the Portuguese Environment Agency (APA) and the Regulatory Authority for Water and Waste Services (ERSAR). The project aims to improve and promote pro-active participation of citizens in the implementation of the WFD by setting up aind training networks of volunteers to monitor rivers in the area where they live. It will also build an online georeferenced data base where citizens can report pollution incidents to Quercus and the authorities responsible.
